About Safeguard Massage

Safeguard Massage Owner Pamela Trew began massaging at age 6 on her grandmother who was crippled from a childhood accident. While in high school, Pam began her career in the healthcare industry working at The Hattie Larlhem Foundation, a home for severely handicapped and disabled children. Moving on to work at an area nursing home, she started massaging the residents while attending the Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron, Ohio.

In January 1996, Pam received her massage license by the Ohio State Medical Board and started massaging in a number of other nursing homes and retirement communities. After more than 10 years, the opportunities opened into corporate massage.

In 2004, Pam massaged her way through the doors of Safeguard Properties when the company had less than 200 employees. After building a more than 7-year business relationship with Safeguard’s CEO Alan Jaffa and with the company’s tremendous growth, Pam started her own company, Safeguard Massage, in early 2011.

Safeguard Massage brings the highest professional standards in the medical massage industry. Pam and the Safeguard Massage Team bring massage therapy and stress relief to the workplace, business events, and corporate arenas.
